Mother's Day

Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!

Carie is such an awesome Mom to our amazing kids. I couldn't ask for a better partner or better mother and I know that we both feel blessed to have these kids in our lives.

We had a nice Mother's Day weekend! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we weren't able to plant like we had hoped, and Ellie was still fighting off her mystery illness.

We had a little family celebration at home on Saturday evening, complete with Chinese takeout, a fire in the fireplace, and yummy s’ mores! Sunday we spent the day in Lincoln celebrating with my family. I think everyone had a great weekend.

Thankfully Ellie is well on her road to recovery after 5 days of really high temps. She was happy to be able to return to school today! The last pic of Ellie was taken during her low point of the day, and it shows.
