New Songs

I love it; the girls' are learning new songs at pre-school. They both LOVE to sing and often burst out into song many times during the day. Of course this is the only way we are learning the songs. Ask them anything about their song... we get... I can't sing it, Mommy/Momma sing it!

At minimum, they have a morning song, a clean up song, and a goodbye song.

The morning song... sung to the tune of London Bridges Falling Down
Hello and how are you? Hello and how are you? Hello and how are you? How are you today?
Find a friend and shake their hand. Find a friend and shake their hand. Find a friend and shake their hand. How are you today?

The morning one probably is supposed to go more like this...
Hello and how are you, how are you, how are you? Hello and how are you? How are you today?
Find a friend and shake their hand, shake their hand, shake their hand. Find a friend and shake their hand. How are you today?
It may actually go like this, but what we have translated thus far is the above version.

The clean up song... sung to the tune of Jingle Bells...
Clean up time, clean up time, clean up all our toys, lets all work together now and clean our room today. Hey!

I must note that this song has been an inspiration to Ellie! Previously she would avoid cleaning up like the plague, but now she is all into it and is such a great helper at clean up time. Maybe seeing her peers in action has helped as well. All we know is that we Moms' LOVE it.

The goodbye song...
Goodbye Ellie, goodbye Ellie, goodbye Ellie we were glad that you were here.
Goodbye Abby, goodbye Abby, goodbye Abby we were glad that you were here.
Goodbye....
