Sisters
This is what we found when we went to check on them.
Abby told us the next morning that she was on the inside (next to the wall) so Ellie wouldn't push her out of bed. Smart thinking!
They also have this thing about taking every pillow possible, arranging them just so, and then sleeping on the huge mound of pillows. The pillows, shams, and throw pillows have to be in a specific order! We resituate them when we check on them after they have fallen asleep.
They've been talking about bunk beds lately. I'm not sure where they got this idea, or how they've learned about bunk beds, or how they even know that it is possible for their beds to bunk. Mom - we just know!
So they've talked about wanting to bunk their beds, because it is a possibility – “someday” - and who will get to sleep on the top bed and who will get to sleep on the bottom bed. First I say, refer to the first paragraph. Abby has it all figured out. Then I think this picture is almost proof enough that Ellie should get the bottom bunk. Every night we check on them she has part of her body hanging out of bed, sometimes more and sometimes less. This night was less, way less. She is a crazy sleeper.

Your kids are so cute! Thanks for sharing the pictures. One of my sisters is a sleeper like Ellie and she's fallen off a bunk bed so I agree with you thinking Ellie should be on the bottom.
