Sounds Or Words?
The Boy is talking up a storm! I am always amazed after our kids go through a noticeable development and growth spurt. It is amazing watching them process the things around them, watching them "get it", watching them master the newfound skills.
Spencer has taken to using the sounds of things in place of the name of the object.
In Spencer's world all...
Trains are choo choos
Cows are moo moos
Horses are neigh neighs
Ducks are quack quacks
etc...
Though oddly, dogs are "dogs".
And sometimes everything with four legs become moo moos or neigh neighs. They are all interchangeable, right?
This boy can hear a train from a mile away. The look he gets on his face when he hears a train is priceless. Listening to the "choo choo" sound roll off his tongue couldn't be cuter. Watching his joy brings us joy. It is heartwarming to know that he can hear those sounds. Thank you ear tubes!
I am thrilled that we are still MomMA. The way he says it with emphasis on the MA melts my heart. He is also currently exploring the option of Mommy.
