Hobbes 1991 - 2007
Hobbes entered this world in September of 1991 and came into my life that October as a wee puppy very full of spunk and energy.
He's been with me through the many changes in my life. His first challenge was to live with the nice, and the not so nice, college roommates in the little rental house in south Lincoln. His final challenges were to navigate life with many little bodies amidst. There were definite perks of all the small people as there were many great opportunities to enhance his dog food diet. Though he had had enough of the Cheerios! He did so well with the additions of all of our children; he was a great family dog. The girls' are absolutely confident that we had two dogs just for them. To them, it didn't matter that we had two dogs long before they entered the picture. To them Hobbes was Abby's dog and Carmen is Ellie's dog.
Today, Hobbes left our family to move onto his new home. While his spunk and spirit has been gone for a bit now, his body is now in peace.
We'll miss you buddy!
