Knock Knock

Knock knock jokes have made a big appearance in our house. We aren't quite sure where they came from, but all three kids think they are hilarious.

Abby has gotten pretty good at stringing one together with a punch line. Ellie's usually the "who's there?" participant. Spencer always pretends like he's knocking on something when he says "knock knock". And just because we think he is so cute with his "knock knock" hand motions, we'll try and initiate it by saying "knock knock" to him. But now he's catching on and instead of starting his own knock knock routine, he'll say "who's there?”

Spencer's current favorite
Spencer: "knock knock"
Us: "who's there?"
Spencer: "baba"
Us: "baba who?"
Spencer: "MAMA... ha ha ha ha ha"

Much better than the previous routine that included "ball" over and over and over with no punch line.

And yeah... his shirt is quite dirty. Oh to be a kid.

Knock Knock jokes are big around here too. They can drive me up the wall because they never seem to make sense. It's fun though - it's great to see how their minds work. :)

LOL!!! Brendan can never seem to make one with a real punchline though which makes them even funnier.
