Restaurants & 3 Year Olds
Lately Ellie is constantly asking us to "go to a restaurant". Rarely does she ask to go to a specific restaurant, in the beginning all she really cares about is going out. Once we agree to go out, then she is all about giving input on where to go.
This weekend it has been constant... last night she wanted to go out and then again this morning she was requesting that we go out for lunch. She was even thinking ahead.
So Carie thought to ask what it was about going to a restaurant that drove her desires. They have been asking us tons of "what is your favorite part about xyz" questions lately... so she turned the tables.
Carie: Ellie, what is your favorite part about going to a restaurant?
Ellie: "Going potty"
That explains a lot!

yep harriet still has a fascination with public bathrooms, and even better if one of her little friends can come along too...can't see the attraction myself
