Where IS The Sun?
This morning was a rough morning. Imagine that! It wouldn't have had anything to do with still being awake in party mode at 10 pm, now would it?
So Carie went to get the girls' up this morning and it was a slow slow go. So she began getting them dressed while they were trying to wake up. Abby was pretty much fully dressed when she looked at Mommy and said "but where is the sun?" She then pulled the covers over her head. As if to say... talk to the sheets Mommy, the sun isn't up so clearly it isn't time for me to get up.
Now, if it would only work the same at night.
Soon it will be daylight savings time and the sun will once again be up at wake up time. Thank goodness!

Okay, I can pass on the nighttime partying, but a child who doesn't want to get up without the sun, oh what a great concept. I always hear "Mommy it's very dark out", uh yes, because it's too freaking early to be up little boy.
