Successful Play Date
4 Families
13 Kids - Ages 7ish to 6ish months (and Carie didn't have B&B!)
4 Moms
2 Hours
At the park - a very good place to be!
It went very very well. While there were quite a lot of kids, the ages and groupings worked out wonderfully!
The 7yo Group:
Mark (Adam's brother) & Tyler (Evan's brother)
The 5 & almost 6yo Group:
Adam, Evan, Ellie, Abby, & Katie
The 4yo Group:
Jake (Adam's brother) & B&B if they were there
The 2 & almost 3yo Group:
Sean (Katie's brother), Spencer, Sean (Adam's brother)
& Katie (Evan's sister)
Then there's the little one (Adam's brother) who is under 1
It went so well that they plan to do it again after school starts. Unfortunately we didn't figure this all out earlier in the summer! With our district having an early out on Wednesday's they will have perfect opportunity to get together.
Abby & Ellie were very excited to see all of their friends. They all played so well together. It was refreshing, relieving even, to see them playing independently as well as together in various groupings.
As they were packing up and getting ready to head home Carie asks Adam if he would like to come to our house for a play date someday.
Adam: "Only if you have boy toys, you have to go buy some boy toys!"
Evan's mom was standing there and got to witness his response. She and Carie got a good chuckle out of that.
So Carie says, well - Evan has been to our house to play, you should ask Evan if we have "boy toys".
So he did just that!
Evan said "oh yeah, they have boy toys!"
Funny funny kids!
