Abby's First Lost Tooth
It was Monday morning, the 4th day of 1st grade. I know it is Friday already, I'm such a slacker!
Let's preface this with... we are not morning people.
Based on our dinner experience the night before we knew it was going to truly fall out soon. Thank goodness! We were actually hoping it would fall out during dinner. We knew she'd be totally okay with it falling out and if it happened at school she would be just fine. We just weren't entirely certain the tooth would make it home!
So everyone was getting through their morning routine. The kids were sitting at the table eating breakfast. Carie was at the counter making cold lunches. She had just cut Abby's sandwich into strips so she could more easily attempt to eat her lunch. And then suddenly Abby discovered that her tooth had fallen out with her next bite of breakfast. Suddenly the tooth was no longer in her mouth but instead in her hand.
There was much excitement and oohing and ahhing over the tooth that had fallen out and the gap that now resides in her mouth.
Abby's Tooth Fairy box is finally complete. The perfectionist came out in me and this one gave me a hard time at many steps along the way. But it is complete and adorned with all the materials Abby chose. She is thrilled and therefore I am happy. See a theme between the two boxes? As they chose their materials it was quickly clear that glitter was important!

Ooh that box came out SO CUTE! I managed to find only ONE box, and it wasn't the one you were looking for. Way to go on the tooth, Abby!
adorable! i love how it came out! i was amazed at how small Harris' first tooth was, myself. oh...and it was that exact same tooth as Abby's.
Oh, the gaps in the teeth are way too cute. And I love those boxes you made.
